Site Visits
Don’t be surprised if you find Jesse at your site performing a safety audit. A safety audit consists of attending the tailgate meeting, completing the JSA, and entering information in the PPE logbooks. He’ll also go up tower with one of the technicians to complete the rigging inspection checklist. After returning to the ground, Jesse will follow the platform checklist with the team. Finally, a short meeting will be held to gather suggestions on how to improve or make changes if something did not meet inspection requirements. A random drug test will also take place. These site visits play an important role in not only keeping the teams safe at that project but having the ability to improve rigging plans and checklists for all projects.
